Cape Cod & the Islands with JFK 100th Anniversary Tribute

Get acquainted with the history, beauty, and coastal traditions of Cape Cod and its neighboring islands on this fascinating vacation. Plus, learn more about one of Cape Cod’s most famous visitors—John F. Kennedy. Your Cape Cod & The Islands tour begins in Boston with guided sightseeing of “Bean Town’s” most famous sights, a harbor cruise, and two overnights.

In Hyannis, a favorite Cape Cod resort town, spend four nights at the Red Jacket Beach Resort, located on the beautiful waters of Nantucket Sound. From Hyannis, take ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, with sightseeing on both islands. You’ll also have free time to explore both on your own. In Nantucket, enjoy the included visit to the Whaling Museum. From Hyannis, also travel to Provincetown and Cape Cod National Seashore, a 40-mile stretch of unspoiled sandy beach. In Provincetown, enjoy a whale-watching cruise narrated by a local marine biologist—a special experience offered by Globus.

Other out-of-the-ordinary adventures Globus has included on this Cape Cod & The Islands tour are a lobster dinner in Hyannis and a visit to Flax Pond Farms, a working cranberry bog. You’ll also learn what life was like for the Pilgrims at Plimoth Plantation, a re-creation of a small farming and maritime village built by the Pilgrims in the 17th century.

Fans of JFK will enjoy learning more about his life on this tour celebrating the 100th anniversary of his birth. In Boston, visit JFK’s birthplace and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. In Hyannis, visit the JFK Museum, which will celebrate his birth with an exhibition focusing on his time at the Cape. Overnight in Newport and visit the church where JFK and Jacqueline were married.

Historic sights, beautiful scenery, fun experiences, and insight into JFK…they’re all on this marvelous vacation!
