Itinerary

  1. LUSAKA I SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK

    Upon arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, you will be met and assisted with check-in for the domestic flight to Mfuwe Airstrip. Upon arrival at Mfuwe Airstrip, you will be met for a 3-hour road transfer to your Bushcamp in South Luangwa National Park. Depending on the arrival time, you will enjoy lunch, an afternoon game drive, and dinner. If you arrive late in the afternoon, dinner awaits you. (L,D)

  2. SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK

    Rise and shine for an early continental breakfast before departing on an early morning game drive or walk. The concentration of animals around the Luangwa River, and its oxbow lagoons, is among the greatest in Africa. After brunch at camp you will have time to relax or watch the animal activity at the local watering hole until departure for the afternoon game viewing activity. Dinner will be served in camp. Take time to enjoy the next two days at leisure to relax and get a genuine bird’s-eye view of the wildlife around the river and its lagoons. (B,L,D)

  5. SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK I VICTORIA FALLS

    After breakfast you will be transferred to Mfuwe Airport to connect onto the flight to Livingstone (via Lusaka). Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport (Zambia) you will be transferred to your camp in Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls, situated in southern Africa on the Zambezi River at the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, constitutes one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. The local people call it Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning the smoke that thunders. (B,L,D)

  6. VICTORIA FALLS

    Today is yours to enjoy a full day at Victoria Falls! After a delicious breakfast, you can participate in one of the following activities – birding and nature walks in one of the private parks (concessions), a village tour, lunch at the Lookout Café, a cycling excursion through town or a visit to the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust.   7. VICTORIA FALLS I HWANGE NATIONAL PARK

    After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to Hwange Main Camp, where you will be met for the game drive transfer to The Hide Safari camp. Noted for its massive population of elephants, Hwange has Africa’s ‘Big 5’ and plenty of them! 400 species of birds are found here making it a bird watchers’ paradise, particularly in the wet season. Lunch will be served upon arrival, with time to relax before departing for an afternoon activity. (B,L,D)

  8. HWANGE NATIONAL PARK

    Your outdoor safari adventuring continues with another two days to explore Hwange National Park from the Camp. The Hide Safari Camp is on its own private concession, and as such can offer a range of activities. Opt for a walk in the bush with a guide, go on a night game drive after sundown, or just relax in camp and watch animals as they visit the waterhole in front of the camp. (B,L,D)

  9. HWANGE NATIONAL PARK

    Your outdoor safari adventuring continues with another two days to explore Hwange National Park from the Camp. The Hide Safari Camp is on its own private concession, and as such can offer a range of activities. Opt for a walk in the bush with a guide, go on a night game drive after sundown, or just relax in camp and watch animals as they visit the waterhole in front of the camp. (B,L,D)

  10. HWANGE NATIONAL PARK I MATUSADONA NATIONAL PARK

    After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip, where you will board a light aircraft for transfer to Fothergill Airstrip. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your Safari Camp in Matusadona National Park. After lunch at the camp, enjoy time to relax before departing on an afternoon activity. (B,L,D)

  11. MATUSADONA NATIONAL PARK

    You have the next two full days to explore Matusadona National Park situated on the shores of Lake Kariba. The park was proclaimed a non-hunting area in 1958. It became a game reserve in 1963 and a national park in 1975. The vast area is a combination of wilderness and mountains. There is a great quantity of predators including lion, leopard, hyena and cheetah and an abundance of elephants and buffaloes. There are also plenty of hippos and crocodiles in the lake and a large variety of antelope frequently seen on the lake’s shoreline. Birdlife is prolific with more than 350 species of birds identified in the park. Take time to take it all in! (B,L,D)

  13. MATUSADONA NATIONAL PARK (OR EXTEND YOUR STAY)

    Breakfast will be served at the lodge. Afterwards, you will be transferred to Kariba Airport by boat and road where you will have a light aircraft transfer to Harare Airport to connect to any onward flights. (B)
